|
A tool for analyzing the relationship between what is
needed and how can be obtained, what trade-offs are involved and how they
can be prioritized. The classic form is the "House of Quality" diagram.

House of Quality
|
A diagramming technique that records needs as the rows
and the controllable variables as the columns and indicates the impacts
in the matrix. The interactions between variables are diagrammed in a triangle
across the top, giving the appearance of a house. This technique was popularized
by John Houser and others.
